The obvious choice, of course, would be as an accompaniment for a unit on poetry, or for discussions of various literary devices. Because the poems are short, though, they would also be fun to use as a daily writing prompt, or written up on the board as a daily treat, or shared with a class via projector so students can enjoy the illustrations, too.
