This nonfiction picture book celebrates the beauty, tenacity, and inventiveness of weeds. Gorgeous, colorful illustrations accompany the text which, while it doesn't rhyme, still manages to be quite lyrical. A helpful author's note at the end gives background on the various weeds shown within the pages. An altogether beautiful, informative, and ultimately uplifting book.
