Kate is devastated
since her boyfriend, Vincent, was burned and taken by a back-stabbing
Revenant. Revenants are people who have
lived for a long time and spend their immortality saving humans from death, Vincent
was also a Revenant and now that he has been burned, his immortal body is
nothing but a ghost. Luckily, Kate
thinks she can find a way to bring Vincent back to human form. Kate spends the bulk of this book researching
a solution to Vincent’s death.
This is
the third and final book in the Revenants series. Although the middle part of this third book
is heavy in theories and research and lacking in action, the ending of the book
makes up for the slow middle. The
characters in this series are fun to follow and the sweet romance between
Vincent and Kate will snag any young adult girl reader.
