Piven, Hanoch Let’s
Make Faces Atheneum, 2013. $16.99
PICTURE BOOK Content: G.
The author takes the reader through the
process of making faces out of everyday objects we find at home. He shows a page layout of vegetables, tools,
and the garden then he creates happy, sad and other types of faces with the
objects he finds. He encourages the
readers to do the same at home. The
illustrations are bright and simple with minimal text. I think little kids could get ideas on how to
create fun faces out of things around the house. This book is a how to book. There are steps at the end that layout ideas
for making faces.
