Nancy: Budding Ballerina Illustrated by
Robin Preiss Glasser Harper, 2013. $3.99 PICTURE BOOK
Content: G.
Nancy loves her
ballet class and when her father picks her up from class she tries to teach him
how to do a pirouette. He isn’t very
good at it and so Nancy decides to hold a ballet class for her father, which
her mother and sister eventually join as well.
After her class her friend Bree comes over and they show Nancy’s family
their dance moves. In the end, Nancy
gives her father an award for trying his best at dance.
This is a cute book about sharing our talents
with others. The illustrations are
detailed and girlie. Nancy’s family is
cute and supportive of her and her ideas.
Any little dancer will enjoy this story.
