Kate has passed all of the tests and is ready to be crowned queen of the Underworld.  But though she loves Henry with all her heart, he has yet to reciprocate.  When Henry is kidnapped by the King of the Titans, interrupting Kate’s ceremony, Kate has only one choice – she must turn to Persephone to help – Henry’s first, and so it seems, only love.  Someone among the gods and goddesses is playing a long game.  And if everything is destroyed, so be it.  

Kate’s insecurity becomes a little grating this time around, especially as she continues to be manipulated instead of standing on her own feet.  I am holding out hope for book #3.
