Question Boy Meets Little Miss Know-It-All A Richard Jackson Book, 2012. $16.99 PICTURE BOOK
Content: G.
A little boy
torments his small neighborhood with too many questions. Questions that don’t always have answers. But one day at the park he meets Miss
Know-It-All, and she has more than enough answers for all of Question boys
questions. They have a standoff in
the park that draws the attention of those around them. Miss Know-It-All has so much
information and random facts that it causes Question boy to cower, but when she
is done rambling her many facts, Question boy stands up and asks “Why”. He asks why is so many different ways,
that Miss-know-It-All, screams at him, “Because I said so”. They both fall to the ground and lay
there until they decide to become friends and they walk home together.
The random facts that Miss-Know-It-All
yells are fun facts and it’s a cute book, but the superhero element is a bit
weird.
