This is a story about mechanical dinosaurs that get tired of being poked
and played on by the visiting school kids, so they break out of the museum. They go about town wreaking havoc, but
soon join a school to learn some manners.
One day the dinotrux’s didn’t come back from recess and the children are
missing. When the teachers search
for them, they find them in the woods and the Dinotruxs are acting as a playground
for the kids.
This book might
appeal to boys who like trucks and dinosaurs. It’s hard to read aloud because dinosaur names are hard
enough on their own, but this author has combined dinosaur names with truck
names that just sound confusing.
