Maggie wants a
horse and Bramble wants a person. Bramble has turned down so many potential
owners, that she is now Free, and no one is left to give her a home. When
Maggie’s parents take a chance, will the Bramble let someone take care of her
and will Maggie learn what it will take to be friends with Bramble.
I LOVED this
story, it subtly takes the “human gets a pet” theme, and makes it more about
the pet finding the right human. It was patient and hopeful and well written!
