Conner and
Izzy have been keeping in touch through email sense the end of camp. Conner
knows he's fallen for Izzy and he also knows she wont love him back. Still
Conner stays, and Izzy decides to confide in him. At first her emotions that go
up and down then up again seem fairly normal to Conner but when Izzy gets to up
then crashes way down and seems to be unable to resurface Conner becomes
worried. This crazy up up then crash of down beyond any darkness gets wilder
and wilder. Soon Conner doesn't know how to help Izzy anymore and is desperate
to help her. This story was an amazing eye opener that changed my perspective.
I think that every teen should read it. It clearly showcased how someone can
feel like they are normal but everyone else can see that there is something
wrong. It was the perfect perspective to gain on someone with a bipolar
disorder. I wish that this amazing story could have been told without all the
swear words. I am disappointed that this story had such a good message but many
won’t hear it because of the language used.
