Wolves on the Hunt by Meg Marquardt - ADVISABLE

Marquardt, Meg Wolves on the Hunt, 32 pages.  NON-FICTION.  Lerner, 2018.  $20. Language: G (0 swears); Mature Content: G; Violence: G.

This book presents concise information on the various kinds of wolves and their lives such as how they hunt in packs, their special adaptations, and their behavior. It features bright well-chosen pictures, interesting layouts, and lots of fun facts.

This book was a bit more complex than the Polar Bear Book from the same series, as there are many types of wolves with varying habitats. This book could easily be used for a report for 3-5 graders. I particularly like to for its cover appeal –readers who want to read about scary or tough animals will love this book, though it really has a well-balanced amount of information on all aspects of the polar bear. I am pretty sure I am going to buy the entire series.
