This book presents concise information on polar bears such as hunting, habitat, adaptations and behavior. It features bright well-chosen pictures, interesting layouts, and lots of fun facts.

This book could easily be used for a report for 3-5 graders. I particularly like to for its cover appeal –readers who want to read about scary or tough animals will love this book, though it really has a well-balanced amount of information on all aspects of the polar bear. Additionally it covers loss of habitat, which is a huge issue for polar bears today and it may not be addressed in books already on your shelves.
