When a lonely hedgehog hears about a “friendship” it gets on a boat and starts looking, inviting other animals to come along who are also looking for friends. Eventually they realize that they have made the friend ship themselves (with their friendship).
Cute illustrations of animals, and the story about making friends is sweet, but I was concerned when they invited a polar bear on board. Not a lot of depth, even for a picturebook, some repetition for the developing readers.
