When 12-year-old, Erik, ran away, he wound up in an alternate world of New York City, complete with monstrous creatures with enormous teeth and an evil-looking dragon sitting atop the Empire State Building. When Erik gets knocked out while fighting the creatures, he wakes up to find himself imprisoned. Can he escape his captors? Will he make it back to his dimension?

The illustrations are detailed and life-like. The story works well with the comic book format. Action-packed fantasy/science fiction adventure and graphic novel fans will love reading this book.
