This informative book has chapters on What bionics are, how they
have helped restore lost function for humans, how some bionics help keep people
alive, and some cutting edge bionics. Features bright modern photographs.
There was some really intriguing things in this book, including
an artificial toe from ancient Egypt and artificial blood. There was one image
of a lab rat, which I don’t think would be great for younger readers. I think
students interested in robotics would find this book fascinating.
