Six by M.M. Vaughan - ADVISABLE

Vaughan, M. M. Six, 361 pages.  McElderry (Simon), 2015.  $8.

Content: G;

Three years earlier, Parker and Emma’s mother died.  Now their father has dragged from England to the United States so that he can work in a very secretive laboratory.  Adjusting to a new school is hard enough, but then his little sister interferes in a fight at school, making Parker look even more foolish.  That swiftly becomes the least of his problems, however, when a frantic message form their father send the kids on a desperate search for answers – a search that will send to people and places that they could have never dreamed of.

Vaughan writes a good science fiction book to start.  I am curious where this is going now that some of the mystery has been solved.  Hopefully she will do (has done?) some careful plotting before starting in on the sequel.
