Before she was trapped in the Evil Queen’s curse, Red was a girl living with her grandmother in a forest village.  Her grandmother’s obsession with keeping Red safe from the local wolf pack, which killed several family members already.  Red has few friends in the village, except for Peter, the blacksmith’s son.  Learn about Red’s life before any flashback that have appeared on the hit show.

Wendy Toliver was an excellent choice as an author in this universe.  I hope I see more flashback books from the series.
