Krisp, Caleb Anyone but Ivy Pocket 382 pgs.
Greenwillow Books 2015, $ 17.99 Content PG.
Ivy Pocket is an orphan and all alone in the world. She hires herself
out as a servant and gets into all kinds of mischief; mostly of her own making.
She is belligerent, dishonest, and disrespectful. She is asked, by a dying
woman, to deliver a priceless diamond to Matilda Butterfield on her 12th
birthday. To do this she needs to travel from Paris to London, by herself.
I did not especially enjoy this book, but I did finish it.
Some people might find it humorous, but it was not really my kind of book.
