When the Combat and Survival Skills Exam goes horribly wrong, Ben gets the blame (unfairly) and is kicked out of Spy School.  Almost immediately he is approached by his enemies – SPYDER – and is welcomed into a very exclusive, well-funded operation that is dedicated to everything Ben cares about.  Has Ben been activated for a super-secret assignment to infiltrate the enemy – maybe.  Or has he really moved over to the enemy’s side?

Gibbs has a magic touch with middle grade fiction.  Everything I have read I have enjoyed.
