The theme for these nine short stories has
something to do with futuristic problems in new societies. The first two
stories and the last story (by Veronica Roth, Kelley Armstrong, and Carrie
Ryan) were my favorites, but I wish the ones by Roth and Armstrong were
developed more as novels rather than left as short stories. Sadly, the other
six stories were pretty mediocre. They were fine stories, just not great.
Overall there are some ideas interesting to think about, but only a few of them
were made into captivating tales.
