3, 2, 1, Go! by Emily Arnold McCully -OPTIONAL

McCully, Emily Arnold. 3, 2, 1, Go!, PICTURE BOOK. Holiday House, 2015. $14.95. Ann won’t let Min play school because she says Min is too little. So, while Ann and Bess practice spelling and counting, Min builds a rocket ship so that she can cross over Ann’s line without “stepping over it” like she was told. An I Like to Read Book, the vocabulary is very basic and the storyline isn’t difficult to understand. I found it to be somewhat boring and I think there are better early reader books out there. The illustrations didn’t strike me as anything special. Content: G. PRE-K, K- OPTIONAL. Reviewed by: Shay, School Librarian
