Before she goes to visit her friend Tallulah, Maisy stops at the local bookstore to find the perfect gift. She meets up with several of her friends and finds out what they are reading, listens to a story read by the bookseller, has a snack in the cafe, and finally decides on the books to buy.
I love stories about books and bookstores! Maisy shows the reader all the things there are to do at the bookstore. Very simple text - a beginning reader can enjoy this on their own. The Maisy series is so popular, don’t leave this one out.
