The Most Perfect Snowman by Chris Britt - ESSENTIAL

Britt, Chris The Most Perfect Snowman.  PICTURE BOOK.  Balzer + Bray (Harper), 2016.  $18.

The snowman was left with only a mouth and eyes – not a single mitten to keep him warm or even a nose.  Day after day he stands, jealous of the other snowmen, who won’t let him play because he just looks too weird.  Then finally a pair of children take pity on him, giving him a hat, a scarf,  mittens, and even a carrot nose!  The Snowman is ecstatic until a storm blows away his hat and mittens.  When a little forest creature needs warmth and food, he is left right back where he started.

So, so cute!  A very worthy addition to any holiday picture book collection.
