This is the story of fall centered around yellow leaves. From hiding crows, to blowing in the wind, to leaves blanketing outside. Features bright yellow illustrations that are large enough to share with a group.

This book keeps referring to Fall as yellow time, which was confusing for me and would be for children too, since we usually call it Fall and the leaves are not only yellow but red and orange. It feels like it should just be a personal art journal for the author, I found I didn’t relate to much of it such as her take on the smells, crows everywhere, or pressing leaves into books, ect. Also one of the illustrations just looks like a giant fire outside of the windows, so not my favorite art style.
