This book features a collection of combined animals and why they are special. Examples are the duckaroo, which lays eggs but gets to keep them in its pouch. Pages features just the words and the animals, no backgrounds.
I didn’t care much for the illustrations in this book, they could have been so darling and vibrant. Kids love the combined animals idea, and there is a great website for this called Switchzoo. Its also a fun writing and art prompt. I would keep this book just to be an introduction for that unit. But probably wouldnt purchase it otherwise.
