In this second book of the series, Princess Merida has to deal with the son of a fellow clan, Young Macintosh. He likes to brag and throw fits and Merida can’t stand him. But its festival time, and the fairy are about, so when she makes an ill spoken wish, its granted. Young Macintosh isn’t quite himself and Merida is forced to spend time with him to remedy the situation. She learns its important get to know someone and to be careful with magic.
This is even better than the first one. Students will love the magic thrown in the mix and I love the new perspective she gets on friendship. Again, the cover is very appealing and will be fought after by students.
