Michael’s computer-generated consciousness has been downloaded into a human body - what happened to the former occupant - he has no idea. Instead of blindly following Kaine’s orders, Michael escapes and heads to find his two best friends from the gaming world - Sarah and Bryson. Together the trio have to maneuver layers, blindsides, lies, and enormous amounts of computer code. If they don’t somehow find a way to stop him, Kaine will replace every human currently alive with a computer generated Tangent. There is absolutely no on ether can trust except for each other.
Go Dashner - this time he wrote danger and excitement without resorting to a blood bath. While people will make comparisons to the Matrix, Dashner also adds in Inception-like ideas, making a complex story that is very engaging.
MS - ESSENTIAL.
