Saba has accepted her role as the leader of her small band of
rebels. She knows that they need to take
down DeMalo, the head of the cult-like group of Settlers, but she still is
confused about her feelings towards DeMalo and Jack. With her family and friends, Saba has one
week to upset the rebellion, before DeMalo starts to attack her small group,
but it seems as though someone in her group is working with DeMalo behind her
back. Trouble seems to outweigh any
good, but will Saba be strong enough to lead people to their freedom.
This is the third and final book in the Dust
Lands trilogy. At times I was impatient
for the climax, but the small stories throughout lead to a better understanding
of the twists and turns at the end. I
loved following Saba on her journey in this interesting world and I am sad that
it is over.
