Hannah and Zoe are best friends. They are always there for each other no matter what. Zoe has made a museum of feelings to help her little brother with asperger’s syndrome relate to his world. But when Zoe’s impulsive behavior sets off some psychological problems and she is threatened with commitment to a hospital, Hannah and Zoe escape New Jersey and set off on a road trip across the U.S. looking for the extreme weather which Zoe insists signals the arrival of aliens.
Despite a series of improbable situations and mature content this study of emotions and friendship is memorable, however, too much language and content for readers younger than high school makes this an optional selection. HS - OPTIONAL Lisa Librarian
