Also the hottie from school, Avery, a boy by day and a troll by night, is
totally bugging her and she doesn’t trust him. She turns to her cousin Caroline
for ideas and ends up placing her in mortal danger!
Although I didn't read the first book in this series, but the author did a great job of letting me
know what happened without rehashing too much or leaving me confused. The
chapters and design was innovative and the art style was fun and interesting. I
like how the main character just sort of muddles along and is really brave too.
This would be a fun series to add to your graphic novel collection and it might
just prompt some fencing tryouts!
