A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford - OPTIONAL

Clifford, Leah A Touch Mortal, 418 pgs. Greenwillow, 2011. $17.99. Language-R ( 102 swears, 70 "F"), Sexual Content-PG-13; Violence-PG-13; Eden is dead. Waking up in a strange place with a new strange way of being required to live life. Eden now blames her old boyfriend for the situation she is in now. So she leaves him and starts her own group of new found friends. As she struggles with her strange power she finds that maybe Angels and people filled with the Touch are meant to protect each other from the fallen. A wild journey and a thrilling fight that ends with an easy choice for love. I loved this new take on a vampire but not really a vampire story.  As always there is a way sweet love triangle. I was somewhat disappointed with who she chose to be with in the end. Either way though I loved reading this story. Its a new story about angles, the new vampires! HS OPTIONAL. Student Reviewer: KU
