Eona by Allison Goodman -- ADVISABLE

Goodman, Allison Eona: The Last Dragoneye, 637 pgs. Penguin, 2011.

Language - PG; Mature Content - PG; Violence - PG-13 (harsh life situations, war, torture, and death).

This book follows Eon: Dragoneye Reborn. "Facing the ultimate battle for control of the land she calls home, Eona finds herself waging an internal battle every bit as devasting as the war threatening to break out across the kingdom."

This was an awesome high fantasy teen adventure. Goodman built upon the world created in the previous book, expanding on the dragons, Eona's past, her swords, and the folios. Eona has this power, and much of the book was how she would choose to use it. For fans of Eon, this is a fitting and satisfying conclusion.

HS - ADVISABLE.
