Mouse finds a huge cupcake, but it is too big for him to carry back home. While he tries to get someone to help him he shares the cupcake with all of his new friends. By the end of the book, the cupcake has been eaten so that it is small enough for Mouse to carry it himself. The moral of the story is that sharing makes friends and can solve problems.
