Bits & Pieces by Judy Schachner -- ADVISABLE
Tink loves his life as a family cat. He is treated with love and always has plenty to eat and good places to nap. However, he longs for an adventure -- an outdoors adventure, to be specific. But what will happen to this not-so-bright cat if he does manage to slip out the door one day?
The illustrations in this one perfectly capture the foibles of Siamese (and many other) cats, and children will likely find the insults to Tink's intelligence amusing. The story is not dynamic or elegant, but it comes together well enough. Especially recommended for cat lovers.
