Grace is a newly ordained orphan. However, before she is accustomed to the idea, her uncle who lives in New Harbor suddenly comes forward to claim her. Grace used to love New Harbor, but memories that were long buried are dug up and threaten to overwhelm her. Memories of a best friend who was lost, a boyfriend she pushed away, and the night that changed her life. Living in New Harbor is supposed to be a better life for her, but as Grace starts to investigate for the truth she is faced with lies and the possibility of hurting those who are close to her in order to heal.
This book was really good. It was such a good insight into life in today’s world and the troubles teens face today. I would definitely read it again.
*SPOILER ALERT*
Mature Content is PG-13 because Grace was raped before the story and she is investigating who it was that raped her.
