Told in rhyme, this book is a great introduction to
squirrels for young children. Children
will meet different squirrels, learn how they use different body parts and see
what a typical day is like for them.
There is much more detailed, scientific information in the back that
librarians and teachers can read and use with older students. For preschool children this is a great book
that can be used in a fall or squirrel-themed story time or unit of study.
Pre-K, EL (K-3) –ADVISABLE.
