When Lina and Milo’s explorer parents are kidnapped by the
Empire, they decide to try to find them and rescue them. But in the meantime
they have to keep the ship together, which is tricky for two kids. But they
have the help of their ship android CR-8R. They decide to land on the planet
Thune, where a good family friend lives. Their droid carries some information
secretly sent by their mother, but it turns out Captain Korda, the man that
kidnapped their parents, is there and ready for them.
This feels like a book #2, we missed the whole kidnapping and
escape adventure, but it says it’s the first in a series, very confusing. None
the less, this is a fun fast paced adventure with lots of personality. I think 3rd
-4th grade students that are star wars fans would LOVE to read
this book. Its full of tech, danger, alien creatures, and even has a cameo from
Darth Vadar himself.
