Power: The Secret Strengths of Introverts, 254 pgs. $17.99
Content: G.
This nonfiction book
explains the psychology of introverts and applies it to real
life. Although introverts oftentimes get
overlooked, especially as adolescents, this book helps kids and teens learn to
take their comfortable and natural preference of being quiet and use it for
good. The book gives practical solutions
and ideas for teens to be successful with their quiet personalities. It also gives introverts permission to be who they are and let their voices be heard.
I think this book is fantastic and needs to
be read by teachers and parents of introvert teens, as well as the teens
themselves. There is so much power and
confidence that this book can give a quiet student and the practical applicable
advice is easy to apply to everyday. I
wish this book would have been around when I was a teen. This is readable and interesting.
