Have you ever wondered if you’ve lived another life in
another time? This book is based on that
premise. The book has an eerie feel to
it since Ana (formerly Emma in her previous life) has only been separated by
six years between her death and rebirth and her new life is roughly in the same
area. A traumatic event is haunting Ana
from her first life, and horrifying memories of a drowning become more vivid as
she attempts to unravel an experience that may unravel her first. Ana’s memories are set off by a chance
meeting of an elderly woman that leads to layers of dark secrets.
Don’t read this book if you have something
important that needs to get done. You
will ignore family and friends as you race through to the end to discover with
Ana what she really did in her previous life, and why she feels she should
punish herself in this one. There is no
swearing, some implied sex, and just enough creepiness to keep it engaging.
MS/HS-ESSENTIAL.
