Marti and Adam meet at a summer camp
for photographers. Marti is a rock princess
(her father is a rock legend) and Adam is the lead guitar in the hottest boy
band in the country. Although Adam tries
to hide his identity, Marti figures him out and is disappointed that she likes
someone in the music industry because she has had such a bad experience with
her dad. Marti and Adam are drawn to
each other and when Marti’s life is thrown for a curve, Adam wants to be there
for her.
This is a teen romance, but has
a lot of heavy content—teen pregnancy, drug-abusing parent, and death of a
guardian. The mature content includes: off page unprotected sex, naked skinny dipping with multiple boys and girls,
underage drinking, drug use and attempted rape.
This book is so different than the first book in the series—and it is
hard to recommend.
