Bonnie Baker has spent her whole life as the main character in a reality
series. After her suicide attempt and
parent’s divorce Baker’s Dozen went off air, so Bonnie is surprised to find out
that her mom has rekindled an interest in the show and the crews are back in
their home. Bonnie doesn’t want to be on
air and just wants to live a normal life with her new boyfriend. Bonnie and her brother push the limits of the
show and try to break away from the public eye.
This is an interesting book that explores what it is like to be a
reality star, or to have your life scrutinized by the public. The main character took me a while to like,
but I did care what happened in the story.
The mature content is crude sexual references, underage drinking and
sexual activity (not on page sex).
