Nine is rescued by a young pilot named Hailey. When she’s taken to Attica, a

enthralled with the settlement until she sees how controlled the humans are and
discovers the pilot delivered her there in return for plane pieces. She escapes
with her friend, Rovender, and begins to uncover dark secrets about Wondla. As
Cadmus’ plot to destroy all aliens and take control begins to unravel, Eva
realizes she must fight for her dream for peace. Will she succeed in saving
Wondla and achieve peace?
The characters are engaging, well-developed, and
eye-catching. The plot is well-developed, action-packed, and filled with
mystery and adventure. The mix of technology and fantasy are merged together
superbly. Readers who enjoyed the first book in the series and enjoy fantasy
