Rachel’s father hasn’t come
back from the Wastelands and the leader of their city-state is declaring her
father dead. Rachel believes that she
can find her dad if she can get a chance to go out to the wasteland to find
him. But Rachel has been placed with
Logan as her protector and Logan doesn’t want Rachel to get hurt and they both
are being watched by the evil commander of their city state. Together they need to evade the commander and
steal outside the wall to find Rachel’s father.
I enjoyed this story because the main character is strong and
independent and she has loyalty. The
book has love, adventure and mystery and its set in a dystopian type world with
a fantastical beast. I can’t wait to read
more from this series and it’s clean enough that it’s easy to recommend.
