Cute story with charming, soft-toned illustrations. I know what it is like to have a crying baby so I was happy to see that Miriam figured something out...even if she is baking bread every day for the rest of her life. But it just goes to show that we all love things that are warm, loving, cozy, and familiar. EL-ADVISABLE. Whitney, Library-Teacher.

Miriam has her own little bakery where she makes bread with smells that "make your nose twitch and tastes to make your tongue tingle." After trying everything, Miriam finally has an idea as she looks down on her little raisin.
