The second book of the series introduces Ava, a girl in a traveling circus. She and Sophy team up to save a baby unicorn from the evil magic-gatherer, Sir Fitzroy.

This is a sweet follow-up to the first book. Ava is as appealing as Sophy. In fact, the characters are all either super-kind like Ava and Sophy, or super-mean and selfish like Sir Fitzroy; pretty helpful for those who like to predict who the allies and villains will be in a book, but not great for generating a lot of plot twists. Children will especially enjoy the feeling of adventure as Ava and Sophy hang out with unicorns and ride on dragons.
