The Animal Inn provides all sorts of services for a variety of pets; they offer boarding, grooming, lessons, and even birthday parties. But when the resident animals hear that the next guest will be a wizard with a dragon, they are in a tizzy. Can the inn survive such a visitor? More importantly, can the animals?

I had a great timing living vicariously through the animal characters in this story, and the inn itself made such a charming setting. Animal details sprinkled throughout educate without any preachiness and add further interest. The mystery of the new guest creates some fun suspense. A fun read, and a nice start to a new series.
