Max is walking on the shore when he finds a seashell. He held the shell to his ear to hear the sea inside, but heard much more. Pirates, a castaway, a mermaid, a storm, sea creatures, a submarine - so many stories inside just one shell.
I was hoping for stories, this is more about connecting sounds. Rather scattered, and some of the illustrations were strange (the poet has an elephant trunk?), also the cover is so bland! This one is difficult to recommend.
