Draewulf has transferred his evil spirit into Eogen and plans on raising
an army to take over the rest of the kingdom.
Draewulf has to follow the prophecy of taking over each kingdom’s king
to gain immortality. Nim can’t use her
elemental powers, so she takes on dark powers from a witch in an attempt to
restore Eogen to his body before Draewulf causes war. In an attempt to save Eogen, Nim might lose
herself.
This is the second book in the
Storm Siren series, and at times the action was bogged down with
strategizing. Nim is a strong character
and the world is well thought out, but it is hard to pick up the second book
after waiting a year and know who is who and how the kingdom is laid out. Once I could remember the leaders and layout
I couldn’t put it down. This book has a
fantastic audio book reader.
