Flip and Flop are walking in the desert.
They walk and walk until they are very tired! Luckily Otto and Peanut
come walking by. Otto gives Flip and
Flop a ride. It isn’t long before more
friends need a ride. Everyone is welcome
to climb atop Otto for relief from walking in the heat. Otto soon becomes very tired of carrying all
of his friends. When Spec, a small tiny
creature, hops on top of Otto’s trunk, Otto crashes to the ground. The animal friends then build a wagon to pull
Otto to their destination. Once they
arrive at the lake, they enjoy a fun day together.
This is a perfect Early Reader. The words are simple yet the story is
fun. The illustrations are wonderful!
Each reader will delight in the story and in the illustrations.
