Portly Pig is unhappy because everything around him is too
clean, so he wanders of looking for a puddle.
Once he finds it, he spends the day playing and wallowing and getting
dirty. But a sudden rainstorm washes him
clean. Oh well, back to the mud puddle!
I loved the illustrations - there are extras in every
picture, so “can you find the ____” is fun in this delightful board book. It also has a little sound button that plays
pig sounds for about 10 seconds, so the child can press it again and again as
you read the book. (It’s also in the bottom right corner, so you can easily
cover the button when the oinking gets annoying).
